Challenge:
Indeed had a creative idea to deliver a personalised and fun offline experience to event attendees at Mardi Gras Fair Day. What they needed was a way to share the real world experience digitally, in an easy and streamlined way.
Indeed was providing an incredible activation, where consumers could receive a digital portrait drawn onsite by an artist - cool, right?! But how were they going to receive this from the artist in a streamlined way, and showcase the amazing content on digital displays live at the event?
Enter Social Playground.
Solution:
Digital integrations are our jam - so creating a streamlined digital solution for this was a no-brainer for our in-house developers (a.k.a. wizards). We utilised one of our digital sharing platforms to link the artist’s illustrations to the cloud.
Our custom sharing software was then able to detect illustrations as they were created in real time and display them on the iPad share station onsite for instant digital sharing. This meant the illustrations lived well beyond the event, and became a shareable piece of branded content that was perfect for social media. The illustrations also simultaneously appeared on a live feed onsite, amplifying the experience to attendees who were passing by the stand. An online gallery lived on post-event for consumers to view and share their illustration, along with the illustrations of everyone who took part in the experience.
For Indeed, the activation enabled us to extend the engagement beyond the event. We were able to reach a significantly larger audience via social media sharing of content. And most importantly, we delivered a simple and effective process for attendees to instantly receive a digital copy of their illustration, live at the event.
